The research noted that 9.3% of those who consumed less than a glass of drinks per month over 16 years lost their lives, while those who consumed two or more drinks lost 11.5% of their lives.
Scientists pointed out that if other factors, such as body mass index, physical activity, cigarettes, and education, those who consume two drinks a day are at risk of early death 17% more than those who drink less than one drink.
In research, the results have been similar to that of men and women.
