Gucati has declared the number of incoming invitations is very large and that the budget shared by the Kosovo government for the protection of those accused by the Special Court is insufficient.
“Password of invitations to Special Court budget guests is very small. Even minimum cover-up expenses, given the trip and accommodation at the hotel. I don't think this budget will cover all of this”, he said of the Telegraph.
Gucati said they expect the formation of the new government and believe the additional budget will be shared for the accused by the Special Court.
“We expect the new government to be formed, because Albin Kurti himself has promised he will come to the aid of KLA veterans, and I hope and believe he will share the additional budget for these categories, which will be invited by Special Court”, he stressed.
As for the promises of Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti for the break-up of the Special Court, he said he does not believe this promise will come true.
I believe Albin Kurti will keep the promises he made in the campaign, but I don't believe the Court can be broken, because the coalition will become with the LDK. And the LDK is the party that has been a follower of the Special Court jointly formed with the PDK. And I don't believe that the coalition will allow the Court to be broken because LDK deputies have voted its creation”, he said.
Gucati during the interview has said there are information from international lawyers that at the end of October and early November, the first arrests take place.
