Montenegro visits Pristina on Monday to face Kosovo in the seventh round match of the Euro 2020 A qualifying Group at the Fadil Vokry Stadium, which is expected to be fully filled with darda fans as at any other meeting.
Beqiray, born and raised in Pec, is aware of the atmosphere that will reign in Kosovo's capital on Monday evening.
Over 12,000 fans were present at the stadium, which takes some 13 thousand Sosh on Thursday in Kosovo's 1:0 win against Gibraltar in a friendly match.
The stadium and atmosphere at Fadil Vokry on Monday are expected to make the night even more difficult for Beciray Black, which is in search of first victory in Group A.
Beqiray believes there are similarities between this Kosovo and Montenegro of the first eight years, especially in the enthusiasm of fans and players' optimism.
Kosovo has a new team, with many players playing in good teams. The national of Kosovo reminds me of our first national 7 or 8 years, when the stadium was full, when we were full of optimism and we wanted to prove ourselves. I'm not saying we're missing desire now, we fight and we want victory but we're going through a difficult time. I hope things will change very quickly, starting with the Kosovo game” said Beqiray.
Montenegro has been represented by national football since 2007, shortly after the country was independent of Serbia.
