The two political parties, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Vetevendosje Movement are estimated to be deliberately delaying the government's formation process even though the results by the CEC have not yet been certified.
Politilogu Faton Abdullahu, in a promotion for the Online Economy, says that all this progress in this process they link to domestic elections in the US, thinking that the Trump Administration will have another focus and forget Kosovo.
Abdullahu says it is unfair before Kosovo citizens and the international factor.
There's no way I want to pass, I have no evidence to prove, but there's indifference to come to the conclusion that the VV and LDK are deliberately prolonging the whole process because they want to avoid the pressure to make the dialogue because they don't seem to have any clear what they're waiting for in the dialogue. Since they are deliberately prolonging all this process to think that in the near future the Trump Administration will focus on the US internal elections and forget about Kosovo, and the Kosovo government, the VV and the LDK will make the government”.
“I consider that this is not fair in front of international partners, especially the US, is not fair to Kosovo citizens, the process should be put off much faster. I'm aware that they've found the excuse unless the elections are certified, we have nothing to do with, they can come and be much more honest, show up to the citizens how the ministries are being divided, what reconciliations are because there are major differences of nature such as dialogue, the time of development of this process, the report with the Serb community in Kosovo, different from the VV, and the LDK”, he told EO.
Speaking of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Abdullahu says the LDK continues to be unclear as to this topic, while the VV maintains the stance it has had that they do not rush into dialogue.
He says these attitudes are totally contrary to the US.
What I consider to be very important is that the international factor, our international partners, the US, the States of Quintus and not only those, have demanded that everything accelerate and start dialogue immediately, but at a meeting with Mr. Costnet, VV leader, sir. Kurti has said they are not to rush this process, that is, for the dialogue process with Serbia. That's the big and content difference on this path between Vetevendosje and the US”.
If this is continued and if it is driven by these two political subjects, by the surprises that may bring dialogue, if these want to escape immediate dialogue with Serbia, then it can be said that especially in this approach it can be more reluctant to the LDK which continues to be not clear as far as dialogue and many other processes are concerned, while the V's maintains the attitude that it has had that they are not hasty in terms of dialogue that is totally opposed to the US, which says that the dialogue should immediately mean a continuous effort to make it without delay. That would be worrying to the alarming if they didn't find common language to divide the ministries”.
Abdualu says that the LDK and the VV are two political parties that have major context differences each other, differences from different backgrounds and look to this perspective according to him will have difficulties even in the near future for them to co-ordinate on many issues.
“The LDK, being inert, did nothing to accelerate this process seems to have fallen under Vetevendosje's shadow and tempo and continue to meet not every day, but every third day. There is no excuse not to meet working groups every day because citizens are waiting and there are many different processes pending, so it is responsible before the international factor and the citizens of Kosovo to continue the dialogue, remove taxes and exit the dialogue, and start the dialogue because this is what they all expect and cannot escape this process”, he told EO.
