Appeals hearing fails in the 17-year prison sentence for inciting serious murder

And for not bringing him to court, Kosovo's Transport Unit officials announced the Appeals College, led by Judge Abdullah Ahmeti, that they have not been ordered to bring the accused to Wednesday's session.
Likewise, even the reporting judge for the case, Driton Muharremi, said the court has no evidence that the accused has been formally invited to the session, reports “Justice bet”.
Otherwise, attending the session was the defender of the accused, attorney Asdren Hoxha.
Due to the indictment's absence, Wednesday's hearing was postponed on October 10th 2019, at 10:00.
The Constitutional Court in Pristina, on April 16, 2019, had convicted Arlind Ahmeti, charged that, in co-ordination with Agron Vlasaliu, on November 24, 2017, before the café “Francisko” on “Fehmi Agani” in Pristina, have now deprived the life of the late Nehar Sahiti.
His work had been pronounced a unique sentence of 17 years in prison.
Court Chairman Vesel Ismajli, in declaring the indictment, had announced the parties that the court has changed the legal qualifications of the criminal act for the accused Ahmeti, from grave murder to co-ordination, to the criminal offence in serious murder.
According to the court, the court has not confirmed the actual situation that Ahmeti, along with Vlasali, committed the criminal offence of the serious murder in co-ordination, as the court has not confirmed with any evidence that Vladaliu had earlier conflict with the deceased, but the consequences were taken by being driven by Ahmeti.
For inciting serious murder, Arlind Ahmeti has been sentenced to 16 years in prison, while to one year and six months in prison he has been sentenced for illegal possession.
Later, his sentence has been pronounced uniquely of 17 years in prison, in which the time spent in detention from November 25, 2017, will be calculated.
Otherwise, according to the indictment, on November 24, 2017, prior to the café “Francisco” located on the remaining “Fehmi Agan” in Pristina, accused Arlind Ahmeti, under the preliminary agreement with the other accused, Agron Vlasaliu, who is on the run, have now deprived the life of the late Nehar Sahiti and have risked the life of the now damaged Behar Sahiti, Lumbar Kudaj, Frekim Frezim, R. K. And exile Kqiku.
The prosecution claims that after the appeal of accused Arlind Ahmeti, with the Nehar and Behar Sahiti brothers, while Agron Vlasalou was in the car, opened the vehicle window and shot twice, now hitting the deceased Nehar Sahiti and other injuries in the indictment, with cerras from his wounds, the deceased has passed away at QKUU.
With that, before criminal acts were re-qualified, accused Arlind Ahmeti, in co-ordination with accused Agron Vlasaliu, was charged with committing criminal work “serious murder”.
Also, according to the indictment, accused Arlind Ahmeti, without authorization possessed two pistols, which were his property, which were found and seized at the “Vila Quinc” motel, where, reportedly, the accused had spent the night following the conduct of the crime.
With this, according to the indictment, the accused has committed criminal work “ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
Otherwise, the other defendant Agron Vlasaliu has escaped and is unable to enforce justice.
