Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq will stay until 25 January in Davos, where he will attend the annual World Economic Forum meeting.
At this event, Vuciq will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The Serbian newspaper ʹKurirı says that during this meeting, Vuciq and Merkel will discuss Kosovo, the economy and European integration.
They will also talk about Merkel's visit to Belgrade, which is extremely important to Serbia.
“Merkel shows personal interest in Serbia and the region, it wants to help resolve the Kosovo issue. The theme talks will be Kosovo and the economy. Also, her new visit to Belgrade”, the paper says.
Merkel has earlier declared that without a stable Balkans, there is no stable Europe.
While Serbian analyst Dragomir Andjelkovic has said the theme of this meeting will also be the 100 per cent tax imposed on Serbian goods.
