Vuciq: Our problem with Kosovo, a hundredfold greater than Greece-Macedonia

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has congratulated Skopje and Athens on the Prespa Agreement, but has said problems between Kosovo and Serbia are a hundredfold heavier and that these issues cannot be equal. He says Macedonia and Greece have had the problem only by name, “While our problems with Pristina are a hundredfold heavier, and that people must understand”, reports Serbian news agency “Tanjug”.
“We want to resolve the Kosovo issue, but it cannot be equal [to Macedonia-Greece] because they are dramatically different for weights as well as for the consequences they bear on themselves. Serbia's policy and what brings us mostly good and hope is the policy of regional stability, of open borders, because in the economic sense nobody feared. For the first time, we have exceeded Bosnia and Herzegovina in January with salaries, even pensions, and that difference will only deepen”, he said in Novi Sad.
The Serbian president, speaking of the possible solution with Kosovo, has said it is not only Germany that has recognised Kosovo with current borders, but there are a total of 22 EU states.
“is not only Germany, but there are 22 of the 27 EU member states that have recognised Kosovo's independence at the borders of our southern province”.
Sometimes we forget this because sometimes we want to forget the world, 20 minutes later we want to be part of the world and we're often leaving reality. I believe Germany will keep account, not only for Dialogue, but also for reaching out for compromise resolution. Whether we are going to make it, it remains to be seen”, Serbian President Vuciq said.
According to him, there are interests from some parties -- from Albanians, but also from some major powers -- that do not want to solve the Kosovo-Serbia problem.
Vuciqi said Serbia will be one of the first countries to recognise Macedonia by its new constitutional name, which is northern Macedonia
