Veton Surroi fears the National Union: Get ready for it

The publicist and writer known as Veton Surroi has written a brief text in the Koha Ditore newspaper and the Time portal.

It has prophesied that after overhauling the borders, the national union will be spoken of. Surroi believes such a thing comes from the inability of Kosovo leadership to achieve recognition from Serbia.

That, according to him, would prevent Kosovo Albanians from having their own state equal to other states, including Albania.

A negotiation process that, as the president of Serbia put it, would create the historic line between Serbs and Albanians, would produce a compact territory in Kosovo with as few Serbs on it and a territory in Serbia with as few Albanians on it (no use of violence, but through peaceful territorial exchange). Compact territory with Albanians would have the right to join the Republic of Albania, and since the Republic of Serbia recognises this of Albania, Serbia would meet a need and a promise simultaneously.
