For the first time in an international beauty contest, two twin sisters -- one representative of Albania and the other for Kosovo -- will compete for the crown of Miss International.

The twin sisters are Miss Albania Arvanaita Peci and Miss Kosova Arjanita Peci. The girls explained how they would represent two different nations in the international beauty contest to be held in Asia on January 26th.
In a brief presentation, Arvanita said: My name is Arvanita and I am 20. I was born in Kosovo and now live in Germany. I am currently working at the bank as a banker. On my vacation days I like to dance and swim. Besides them another passion of mine is travel, I love visiting the world;
It was my brother who enrolled me in the miss contest and it all started in the place where I live. For me, it is a great honor to represent Albania in Miss International because I am very proud to be Albanian. ”
This competition is even more special to me because my twin sister is one of the contestants. It will represent Kosovo. So I am very happy and excited to know all the girls in attendance and to create an unforgettable experience, Arvanita said.
On the other hand, Arjanita, the twin sister said: “I am Arjanita Peci and I am 20. I was born in 1998 in Kosovo. In the same year my family had to lock the place because of the war. I was only 1 month old at the time. It was a tough year for my family after they had to start a new life from zero. Today we live in Germany. I work as a law officer. I help people fight for their rights. In my spare time, I like to read and dance. I like to travel and discover cultures in foreign lands. I am very happy to be a representative of Kosovo at Miss International, which will be held in Manila. ”
It's something very special for me because my twin sister will compete in this competition. It all started when our brother enrolled us in the miss contest in the country where we live. We are very happy for this idea and opportunity to offer. We're ready for our route.” Aryanita said it.
More than 85 different countries will participate in this beauty contest this year.
