Today, Theresa May has experienced the worst parliamentary defeat of a British prime minister in the democratic era, as members of the country's parliament have rejected its agreement with the European Union for Britain's exit from the European bloc, with a large majority of 230 votes.
Conservators supporting “Brexit” have joined forces with opposition parties to crack down on the government in “the significant vote”, which the country's prime minister had postponed before Christmas, in hopes that some MPs would change their stance.
