Thaci has indicated that he expects the 100% tax to be removed as soon as possible, for which the US has issued ultimatum.

Today, at the presence of the American ambassador to Kosovo, Philip S. Costett, I have held joint meetings with institutional leaders, with Prime Minister Kadri Veselini, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj and Behgjet Pacolli. At these meetings, we have talked about important state issues, preserving eternal partnership with the US, and the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process. State interest must bring together the entire political spectrum, to make important decisions for citizens' prospects and our Euro-Atlantic future, in line with US interests and Kosovo strategic partners. Therefore, in the coming days, I expect responsible decision-making in full compliance with state interests. We don't have time to waste. HTH
