Thaci: Síka draft agreement written, Monday I meet with Negotiator Team

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in a response to Radio Free Europe has declared that there is no agreement signed with Serbia, as is the statement of some politicians in Kosovo. Through a written response, Thaci said he is currently on vacation, and that he will meet the negotiating team since Monday.

“I have consistently informed the two co-chairees of the Negotiator Team for all topics that have been discussed so far in Brussels, within the final phase of dialogue for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia”, Thaci said.

“also, I have made it clear that there is no official written document or draft agreement prepared by the EU so far. This is natural, because we are in the initial phase of negotiations to reach a comprehensive final agreement. In spite of that, once I'm out, she's meeting the Negotiator Team on Monday and she's going to give her general information on the entire period of negotiations. In this historic process, we will work together and in co-ordination with each other”, President Thaci has said.

The negotiating team, consisting of representatives of the Government and one of the opposition parties, has demanded in recent days that all official documents that connect with the Kosovo and Serbian negotiation process in Brussels be available.
