Pay attention, readers. If you share a roof with your girlfriend or wife and often leave them the task of washing dishes, ironing, and fixing your bed, you might want to change your attitude.
The recommendation comes from a study by the Umé University in Sweden that monitored the lives of 723 people in 26 years. Men who did not share chores with their partner suffered from psychological problems, such as anxiety, nervousness, and concentration problems.
They also suffered from heart rate disorder. Women also get sick of this job sharing imbalance. Many household chores can make them more vulnerable to disease.
According to research, these problems occur only because of roles associated with each gender. Many men surveyed said they were tired of repairing the car, but they felt blocked by the male stereotype”, says researcher Lisa Harrison.
The solution, she says, is to talk to your partner and end these nonsense. It's about your happiness and the health of your loved ones.
