Statistics: 6.6% of households in Kosovo do not have Internet access

Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published the results of the Information Technology Use and Communication Survey (TIK) for 2018.
This publication provides data on the use of information and communication technology from family economies and individuals of the 16-74 category throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
From the results released from this publication, it turns out that in 2018, 93.2% of the family economies in Kosovo have had internet access from homes, from any equipment. While, only 6.6% of the family economies have been declared to have had no access to the internet from any kind of equipment”.
Access to the Internet was mainly from the mobile phone, followed by laptop/computer laptop, desktop computer, tablet, and so on.
“Internet use for private purposes, for use of online public services, to process demand/services has increased by 4.4 %, compared to 2017”, the AK has announced.
