But the crossing of this border has lasted three hours for them. They were stopped by Serb forces for questioning. In a telephone conversation for KTV, Allen Wykanovic says he was interviewed by Serbian police for 40 minutes.
“ [Asked] for my family, my work, my elementary and high school. I was also asked about the Military Academy and all the military information. I was asked about Serbs working in the Kosovo Security Force”, Allen said.
But this is not the first time he has been stopped by the Serbian side just because he is a member of the KSF. It had happened on January 1st, as he was going to celebrate in Serbia.
The first “has not been questioned, it has only stopped me for an hour, and the m%s have checked the document”, he adds.
Despite the stops, he says he likes the work he does, but I don't even know how long he's going to be part of KSF.
I don't know, I don't know, maybe. I want to stay in Kosovo. For me it's great, I feel very good”, Allen Wykanovic stressed.
After 12 o'clock, the Wykanovic brothers have been released and continued their journey. Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has compared them to those of the Milosevic regime, has reacted to these stops. Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli has condemned their ban. He has called on the European Union to respond immediately to the case.
