The Democratic League of Kosovo has distanced itself from statements by the former interior minister, and the member of the leadership of this subject, Skender Hyseni, who has said the collapse of the Government would negatively affect the country. Even the leader of this party, Isa Mustafa reiterates that this government must go home.

At a conference for media, after meeting with branch chiefs, Mustafa said the LDK is preoccupied with the way the country is being run, as according to him, the Kosovo Government and the ruling coalition have given way to the concept of the market economy and has begun to build a social state, thus waking up an internal discontent.

To bring down Government, I have to be honest with them, and now we have LDK votes and I'm convinced as far as LDK votes are concerned, no one is missing, nobody gets sick on the day we had to vote, no jobs outside. As far as other parties can't talk about them, as far as Vetevendosje is concerned, they've been declared, now another party in the country is co-operating with the ruling coalition, and in the moment we've made the votes, tomorrow to make the vote our mood is to bring this government down... I can also briefly tell you that I do not agree with that statement (Skender Hyseni) as LDK chairman and I can also tell you that the LDK does not comply with <DK1>, Mustafa said, kp, submits Telegrafi.

Starting with imposing a 100 per cent tax on Serbian goods, dialogue in Brussels and other issues, Mustafa says the Haradinaj government has not questioned Kosovo's reports with the EU.

He has also commented on American President Donald Trump's letter, sent to the country's president, Hashim Thaci. Until the LDK says it will not become a responsible part of the dialogue, as this is the government's responsibility.

The LDK, according to Mustafa in this process, remains loyal to its document on the basis of developing this dialogue.

Mustafa: Kosovo government careless of Trump's letter

For us, it is also meaningless that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, the moment Kosovo has received a letter from President Trump, in which each side is required to refrain from actions and decisions that harm the process of dialogue and mutual recognition, the Government of Kosovo for its more popular reasons, adds the tax measures 100 per cent, and adds the nomenclature of the goods of this tax instead of considering a letter coming to us from a president of a particular state and friend, which depends on the agreement, but the future of Kosovo, he said.

He does not regret the election of Hashim Thaci as president, since according to him, the LDK is a party that maintains agreements.

“I can regret it because it's not meant for special interests, but it's because at that time we've estimated it should do Government again so it doesn't plant the country into crisis and Mr. Thaci voted for president because we respected the deal. And, we'll respect any deal we make tomorrow with a coalition partner. If there's no respect, Mr. President. Thaci and the PDK, it's their problem, the problem of the one who breaks the deal, and that problem now falls to this distrust”, Mustafa said.

Once, the first of the LDK said it was at the time satisfied with the work of PDK and LDK ministers.

According to him, their biggest achievement has been in Brussels, where they had convinced Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq to reconcile that association can only be done if the Constitutional Court says so.

Otherwise, Mustafa is convinced his party has the citizens' trust with about 2730 per cent of them. While he says he will focus on two issues: reducing unemployment and fighting crime and corruption.
