Shala invites Croats to invest in Kosovo

Trade and Industry Minister Endrit Shala at the invitation of the Minister of Economy and Enterprises in the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Darko Horvat, has held working meetings in Zagreb today, where the central topic was economic relations between two states and investment opportunities.
Minister Shala at this meeting expressed his thanks and that of the Government of Kosovo for the Croatian State's contribution and support for Kosovo, as well as inviting Croatian businesses to invest in Kosovo.
Minister Shala and Minister Horvat also discussed and agreed this year to organise a joint economic forum between Croatian and Kosovo businesses in Pristina, as well as to agree on the return of the Croatian Economica to Pristina and the return of the Zagreb-Pristina airline so that exchanges and communication between the two peoples increase.
Minister Shala, during this visit, also unveiled the numerous opportunities Kosovo offers to foreign investors, rather, he stressed Croatian investment opportunities within the framework the Strategic Investment Law offers.
Shala, announced his counterpart's development of economic zones within Kosovo, which can be seen as an additional possibility of investments from Croatian businesses in our country.
At the same time, Minister Shala, together with Minister Horvat, also held a joint meeting with Croatia's best-known businesses, in which Shala, ahead of the top representatives of these companies, presented the state of Kosovo as an ideal opportunity for investment and development of businesses by Croatian companies.
