New findings suggest that sexual desire plays a major role in people's ability to form an emotional bond with a potential partner.
Psychologists from the University of Rochester in New York and IDC Herzlija in Israel have claimed that physical intimacy can make partners closer.
They have also said that gender does not play a role in efforts to form emotional ties, as men and women try to connect with potential partners when they are sexually resurrected.
