If official Pristina continues to maintain the 100 per cent tax on Serbian goods, then Serbia expects a total interruption of the shipment of Serbian goods to Kosovo.
So economist Stojan Stamenkovic said during the presentation of the magazine Makroeconomic Analysis and Trends (MAT).
According to him, the 409m-euro figure of goods sold by Serbia in Kosovo is accurate and possible, despite the fact that it is a relatively small market, Kosovas broadcasts.
The expectations about expanding investments in other countries are good, but it may be highly suspicious. World Bank and IMF experts consider it could come to biased recessions,” said Stamenkovic, one of the authors of MATT magazine.
Otherwise, the Serbian side wants tax removal as conditions for continuing dialogue in Brussels.
A similar Kosovo side request at the last meeting in Brussels has been forwarded to the European top diplomat Federica Moghrini.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has made it clear that Kosovo could lift the tax imposed on Serbian goods last year if Serbia wants to recognise Kosovo's independent and sovereign state.
