Women are stronger than men in the perception of pain. What was also believed in popular culture has also been proved by science. It turns out that in the face of painful experiences, whether physical or psychological, and in their renewal, women are less stressed and cope with them more peacefully. The study was conducted by Canadian universities and published in the scientific magazine Current Biology.
The analyses conducted have highlighted the differences between the two genders. It turns out that men remember their negative experiences less often, but they suffer if they return to places where they have experienced unpleasant or painful events, while this does not happen in women.
The experiments were originally performed on the lab cavia, and then they were lying in humans. Experts stress they have remained much surprised, as results in male-woman differences were the same in two species.
