News updates, say they have residents of the neighbourhood “Centre” in Pristina.
While most residential units are also filled with business locals, mostly coffee shopmen, residents say they cannot even sleep.
At the beginning of the week, they protested in front of the municipality and midweek residents, police, coffee shop representatives and Pristina municipality representatives met to find solutions.
Centre residents say they got promises that within two weeks the coffee shop will invest in noise isolation as well as stop music after 22:00, reports “038” KTV.
Coffee representatives continue to seek understanding by repeating that there can be no peace in the center as in the suburbs.
Police, meanwhile, pledge to respect the Nuh Law. Central station police say they have increased penalties for disrupting order and public calm.
The Pristina municipality has pledged to establish a new regulation for setting business hours.
The noise in the center has caused many residential units in this section to change their destination. They are now transformed into offices and locals, until residents are forced to move to other parts of the city.
