Against the Serbian Orthodox Church, 30 indictments for pedophiles and sexual violence are being prepared, as well as several indictments with other serious crimes allegedly committed by its representatives, mainly priests.
The Serbian newspaper Danas has reported that these charges will be handed over to the tribunal in London, the same court which long ago confirmed six counts in which the Serbian Orthodox Church is accused of sexual abuse and pedophilia. The numerous documentation requires detailed preparations, so for now it is not known when they will be sent there.
According to Danas, these abuses occurred in Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia, but six accusers of two church ministers and two women, as well as the family of 19-year-old priest Miliq Blazevic, who died in 1999 and for whom his mother accuses retired bishop Vasilije Kacandera, have sought justice in Great Britain, since they consider him not to be taken from local courts, Kosovo broadcasts.
The reason the indictment will be handed over to London is because it is not entrusted to the Serbian judiciary. /Periscopi
