Haziri has also responded to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who accused the LDK of speaking in two voices concerning the official stance on restructuring borders.
Haziri in the interview for Telegrafi, speaking of the possibility of LDK involvement in the dialogue process, said such a thing would not happen, as he believed power has chosen the PSD's offer.
The LDK deputy chairman stressed that MPs from this party “are neither figures nor numbers”, insisting that dialogue is the only way to deal with Serbia.
“To The LDK on the political platform has been on the table, between the LDK and the PSD they have chosen PSD. There has not been any kind of effort to engage in dialogue, but have been dealt with by numbers calculations. Our deputies are neither numbers nor figures. Of course we have dialogue as one instrument. We have offered, but our platform has not been taken into account”, Lutfi Haziri said.
The dialogue negotiating team, Haziri named it “ekipe substructural structures”.
He said the LDK will continue to insist on establishing a political unity, in terms of the dialogue process.
“We will not be part of these structures, but we believe in institutional representation and political agreements. What we have confirmed is that we will maintain partnership with America, special reports cannot harm us. We will work to build the missing unity at any cost”, the LDK deputy chairman said.
Haziri also spoke of the letter President Trump called for a final agreement with Serbia.
According to him, this letter testifies that President Thaci will be the leader of the dialogue, and the final phase of this process.
“Latas have represented the format, which means the president is the only representative of the dialogue. The rest are internal problems resolved by political agreement. As the largest party in the country we have adopted a document that is political orientation for dialogue, and should be taken seriously by the ruling parties”, Lutfi Haziri said.
