The obsession with dinosaurs increases their children's intelligence

Visiting his family at England's Natural Historical Museum, this 10-year-old had noted that one of the signs had not been correct, and that the sign before Protoceraatops (the type of dinosaur) was named as Oviraptorʹpo as a dinosaur.

The family had reported this at the museum and later received letter of thanks, where experts had encouraged Charlie to continue his interest in paleontology.

This has led doctors to show that children are often obsessed with dinosaurs, and this may seem to be linked to a high level of intelligence.

According toPsychology Spotʹ, the amazing knowledge of children about dinosaurs is based on a phenomenon known in the field of psychology as “the outstanding interest”, which is a very strong motivation for a specific subject.

In fact, much of the children develop this motivation during a stage of their childhood, about 2 and 6.

Studies conducted by American scientists have proved that these extraordinary interests on specific subjects are extremely profitable for the intellectual development of children.

They say that these types of interest not only cause the child to expand knowledge of a particular subject but also reinforce their persistence, increase their attention, and develop their skills of complex thinking.

When a child is interested in a particular matter, he/she does her best to learn more about it, from reading books, drawing pictures to watching informative films and shows. Such devotion also helps children to develop problem - solving skills.
