Mimoza Kusari Lila: 100% tax is contradictory

Alternative Speaker and Kosovo Assembly MP Mimoza Kusari Lila considers that the current government has no vision and courage to bring about change in the state of Kosovo.

In an interview for Infokus, Kusari-Lila has declared that the 100% tax on the condition of recognition is contradictory with the actions of the Haradinaj government.

According to her, taxes are not preventing Serbian products in Kosovo.

Also, she has called for Kosovo's breaking-up reports with the US to be prevented.

In an interview for Gazeta inFokus, she also talked about the measures she had imposed on Serbia while she was head of the Ministry of Commerce, the rule of Gjakova by AAK's Ardian Gjini, about the possibility that the alternative be introduced into government and other issues.

InFokus Journal: How do you assess the work of Prime Minister Haradinaj since he has taken the lead in the Government of Kosovo?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: The Haradinaj Government's work I appreciate as a job of a government without plans and without a clear goal for the state, but with the definition of retaining power at any cost and at any cost to the state.
Prime Minister Haradinaj let all in Kosovo and abroad know that his aim is to increase his comfort and his party, satisfy the appetites of all the ruling parties with posts and privileges, as well as changing the capturers of the state from those of previous parties, mainly The PDK in the AAK's particular post office in public companies like Telekom, Posts, etc. and Agencys like AKP, the Civil Aviation Authority, etc.
In terms of the state's funkyonation, we've seen the slowdown and now the column of major functions of the state one by one. Starting with health, education, now the state administration too. The Haradinaj government has managed to convince public opinion that the primary thing for everyone should be protection of personal interest and personal gain, which is now reflected in strikes and considerable social uncertainty. A literal government would have to reflect otherwise - that is, it would have to represent general interest in national interest.
The Haradinaj government, with one word, has neither the courage nor the vision of any change in the state of Kosovo.

InFokus Journal: Recently, the Government of Kosovo taxed up to 100% of products coming from Serbia and Bosnia. What do you think of this government action?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: Serbia has long sought a measure of return for its behaviour towards Kosovo, both on the bilateal and international plains. However, the Kosovo Government tax of 100% on the condition of recognition is contradictory with all other actions of the Haradinaj government. The prime minister and government place 100% and on the other side, adopt delegations of 12 people for dialogue with Serbia without a clear mandate, which is also said to at the end of the process, and is intended for Serbia to recognise Kosovo.
Now, does the prime minister intend that through tax or through dialogue he will force Serbia to recognise Kosovo?
The 100% tax would have to have other conditions, measurable and feasible and to the benefit of Kosovo. The tax would have to condition the implementation of the energy agreement, the free movement agreement, the diploma recognition agreement. Conditions that would increase pressure on Serbia by the international community would not only remain Kosovo now facing pressure to lift the tax.

InFokus Journal: You were, the Minister of Trade and Industry, as well, the director of American Economic Odessa. Given this fact, in the area of the economy, the 100% increase in tax, strengthens local production?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: The tax increase could have temporary effect on budget filling. But from what we are seeing, the tax is not prohibiting Serbian products in Kosovo. They are entering Kosovo, and every corner in our markets is present these products.

InFokus Journal: How long have you been minister, is there after the tendency to increase the tax on Serbian products?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: As far as I was Minister of Trade and Industry, I have completely closed the market for Serbian products for 50 days, or have applied the reciprocity measure since Serbia did not allow Kosovo products or transit to pass through Serbia. However, my decision of the time has had the clear condition, to recognise Kosovo customs seals from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to allow trucks from Kosovo to enter Serbia. Which was achieved after 50 days of total blockade of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

InFokus Journal: After the U.S. request to remove the tax, does the government have to remove it or continue to carry it?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: The Kosovo government must have the clear condition for tax removal. The terms should correctly be defined when tax is removed. On the other hand in no way can we allow the collapse of reports with the US as our main ally from the liberation process, Kosovo's declaration of independence and after that.

InFokus Journal: You were the head of Gjakova. How do you see the situation in Gjakova with Ardian Djindjic's government?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: Unfortunately, Gjakova is marking the regime with the governance of Ardian Djind, which has been put in full service to certain interest groups, destroying the urban plan, destroying the environment and having no consideration for proper procedures in local governance. I blooded very quickly, as did all of Kosovo under the rule of the AAK and other partners, will face one-on-one crises.

InFokus Journal: Should the Haradinaj government go to the end of the ruling mandate? If not, why?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: The Haradinaj government has no option and no will to reach the end of government mandates. This government doesn't even act like it's gonna finish the term. The Haradinaj government has every decision and attitude, gets what it can, as long as we can.

InFokus Journal: If there is a request to join the Haradinaj government, under what conditions would you become part of it?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: No way or in any case will we join Haradinaj's government.

InFokus Journal: How did you comment on all this pressure from the EU and the United States to attract the tax on Serbian products?

Mimoza Kusari Lila: I mentioned it higher than the non-sysiity of the Government of Kosovo in putting the tax in first place has brought this pressure on the Kosovo government. Had there been other conditions, the Government of Kosovo would have put pressure on Serbia to implement those conditions. But the Kosovo government, with its wisdom, has brought itself to the position when there is constant pressure on it.
