The appointment of two Kosovo citizens to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education, Youth and Sports in the Government of Albania has sparked positive reactions among Kosovars.
Officials of political issues think Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's decision, in this case, is natural. They also reasoned on the age of the new foreign minister, for which there were even warning voices.
Analyst Avni Mazrek said that the appointment of Kosovars to ministers' positions will serve Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic future, basing it on Albania's position in international organisations, reports TopChannel.
Meanwhile, citizens think such a decision should be made earlier and that, according to them, Albania and Kosovo should be one.
This decision by Prime Minister Edi Rama has been surprising, following the dismissal of more than half of his cabinet ministers. Rama has decided as foreign minister, instead of Ditmir Busat, Gent Cakane, and instead of Lindita Nikolla, Besa Sahin. / TCh
