In recent years, meditation has become quite popular, for good reason because it changes the way the body reacts to stress. This practice can alleviate anxiety and depression by benefiting mental health.
I'm more vigilant in the morning and more likely to fall down when I enter the house at the end of a tiring day, so waking up a few minutes earlier is the best solution to life - style. And to make this new practice a habit, I need it to be comfortable. First of all, I sit still with my feet on the ground and with my eyes closed.
This position allows me to focus on my diaphragm during slow and methodical breathing. My goal is to create a quiet environment, that will allow me to be closer to the world around me.
So I breathe in five minutes. To make such meditation simple. One thing I've learned to appreciate from meditation is that it's something you need. This practice makes me calm to face a good day at work. If you have not tried to meditate, try and see that your day will improve by just 5 minutes in the morning!
