There is also fear, however, especially from the experience of the wave of mass flight a few years ago, when some businesses became unemployed and risked functioning.
A new factory in Milosevo, in space of 12,000 square feet, is built to be largely automatic. The company's manager, Bekim Krasniqi, for Radio Kosovo has declared that there is fear that after the visa liberalisation process, he could leave the qualified workforce:
We're going to launch the new factory 12,000 meters, we have the latest technology for plastic doors and windows, but also for kitchen rooms. 90% is automatically. The normal workforce that needs to be used, but we've decided to be automatic, because where you know, tomorrow, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, visas are removed and run out of”, he says.
In fact, the wood processing sector, of furniture production respectively, is growing in Kosovo, where many producers are successfully exporting. Even the factory in question is built with the aim of exporting, Krasniqi says.
“Export kitchen, bedroom, etc. Number one is Switzerland, but we also have Germany, Norway, Sweden where we export. A month ago we sent a container with doors and plastic windows to Nigeria. Now the new factory we have in Milosevo, we have 80% for foreign exports. The store of plastic windows, including furniture in general, such as garrisons, rooms, chat rooms, tables, and various”, he said.
That the mobile sector is on the rise, says the chairman of the Board of Wood Processors Association, Hashim Dudishk. According to him, by November 2018 there have been 28m euros of exports, while during the entire 2017 export has been worth 25m euros. Exporting is enabling price and quality, says Drishk.
It's a free labor force, as the first point, we're free from customs for first class, we're motivated by the state for T VSH for export, we have some facilities for export. But mainly it's the free labor force, and the quality that every day is being increased by our producers is also being compared to the quality of Western production”, said thedesik.
Otherwise, most of the raw materials for furniture are imported without customs. In Kosovo, as a raw subject, there are only hah wood.
