The LDK Assembly Group has held a media conference during which numerous criticisms have been addressed to the capital's current president, Shpend Ahmeti.
Disturbing has described Ahmeti's commitment to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue team, saying that double engagement in various functions constitutes violation of the law.
For this even, LDK Asismist Agim Gashi has asked the Ministry of Public Administration to recommend Ambassador Ahmeti's resignation from a position.
“It is the constitutional and legal obligation of the local Public Administration to oversee these actions under official duty and in line with constitutional and legal provisions to recommend resignations from a position he currently exercises”, he said.
Gashi said the charges against the LDK in Pristina for failing to allow the proposal to begin changing the Sun Hill regulatory plan do not stand, because according to him, there are 5 parties governing with the municipality and there is no lack of voting to advance the issue.
Said LDK requested legal regulations
“It is not guilty of opposition, because the ruling coalition is made up of 5 parties in power and supported by the PDK, following the unpublished agreement there are 27 votes and they have been able to organise and vote, so it is not guilty of opposition. The opposition demanded that changes of detailed regulatory plans be made in line with the Space Planning Law. However, this is not happening because the chairman and his government, which six years did not work on drafting the Zone Map as a basic and necessary legal document and precondition for having the right to changes of detailed regulatory plans”, he said.
Gashi said that the reason for a call to the conference is the failures of the Pristina municipality of 2018, where he stressed: Increasing the number of directors, resignations of directors, employment according to interest groups, construction without permission, non-co-operation with the opposition, decline in capital projects, poor quality in road maintenance, violation in the company's selection of school supply.
Ahmeti has also been charged by the LDK for failing to report in periodic periods as one of the main obligations of a mayor.
