Kusari-Lila says with current negotiating team, no agreement with Serbia

Alternative Speaker Mimoza Kusari-Lila has estimated that dialogue with Serbia is in total chaos because of the EU's demand to lift Kosovo's tax and insist on keeping the tax up to Serbia's recognition.

She said about “The new age” on Sunday, that the failure of the two largest parties in the dialogue has caused the negotiating team not to have the unifying and negotiating weight.

The adoption of the resolution for dialogue in the country in the format of how it was made, indiscretion of the two largest opposition parties, makes the dialogue team unable to have the unifying weight and negotiating force. “Dialog with Serbia is in total chaos because on the one hand we have the European Union's continued demand for tax removal, on the other hand, Kosovo's stance on the rest of the tax until recognition by Serbia. How Kosovo will dialogue and will this delegation remain only as a traveling delegation in discussions with the EU, this remains to be seen. However, the beginning is not promising. The alternative is not part of the team because it cannot already have any concrete results and what has been caused so far with the dialogue process cannot be adjusted. The alternative with an almost unanimous decision of its leadership has decided that before we hurry to have the team address the domestic political situation in Kosovo, have a political parties consensus and only after this consensus is reached to be part of the” dialogue process, Kusari-Lila has declared.

The Kosovo Parliament's MP has declared there will be no continuing dialogue in these circumstances and with this composition of the negotiating team.

According to her, solutions to the situation created in Kosovo and for institutional chaos are the extraordinary elections for the timing of the organisation of which the parties between them should be aware.
