It's about the European Championship in the football (ball hall) for players for up to 19 years. From Tuesday (now) competitions are held in the preliminary rounds of qualifications, followed by Periscope.
There are only two groups in the preliminary round, while their winners qualify for the main qualifying round. Kosovo is part of Group B along with Sweden, Cyprus and San Marinon.
In Group A are Montenegro, Greece, Lithuania and Andorra. Kosovo's U-19 matches are fought in San Marino, while the Kosovo delegation on Monday has travelled to this country. On Tuesday (now) Kosovo plays San Marino at 6:30.
Wednesday is the match with Sweden, while Friday with Cyprus. If you eventually win the group, Kosovo in the next round will be along with Azerbaijan, Slovenia and the Netherlands. Kosovo U-19 has been formed late last year, while through a gathering, the selection of players has been made.
We are fully aware that we were founded a while ago as national of this age group and have not had much time to prepare enough and how much this qualifying race requires. However, we have an atmosphere in these boys and a tremendous enthusiasm for the best and dignified appearance. We'll give you the best and it remains to be seen. It's going to be a good experience, while we want the good result”, said selective Suad Kechi.
The football is on the rise in Kosovo, but the number of new players is not much appreciated. This year's European will be held in Latvia in September. /Periscopi/
