Football sport this year was at its peak, after several major successes that were achieved for the first time.

The Good Fights of the National A, the successes achieved with the younger generations, as well as the Kosovo Superleague matches characterised this year as one of the most successful years of Kosovo football.

But during this year, the loss of the big one, former head of the Federation of Kosovo Fadil Vokri, who lost his life early in June, occurred after a heart attack he suffered early morning.

Vorri was the one who did the biggest job of Kosovo football reaping these successes, but he failed to enjoy the successes achieved, even though all the achievements were dedicated to him.

After Vorri's death, work had to continue, the National Team had planned matches under the League of Nations, where players were focused on winning and doing so for the honour and pride of Fadil Vokrri.

It was Agim Ademi, deputy chairman of the Kosovo Football Federation, who assumed the post left by Fadil Vokri. In the labour assembly organised by the NK, Agim Ademi did not have counterCandids and thus by majority managed to become the new NFF chairman.

It was decided that the stadium in Pristina, which was on the verge of completing its work while the Kosovo Football Icon was alive, Fadil Vokry to bear his name, and that since this decision the Kosovo national team has not been defeated by this stadium.

The first match Kosovo held in this stadium was the match against the Faroe Islands, where Kosovo players managed to win and along with 13 thousand television viewers dedicated victory to anyone other than the great Fadil Vokrrit.

Kosovo's Superleague continued with the planned matches, where it has already conducted the semi-seson and Superleague leader Pristina, followed by Fernikli and Llapi.

The current president of the Kosovo Football Federation, Agim Ademi, named it 2018 as the year of pride and pain.

“Viti 2018 for the Kosovo Football Federation can sum up pain and pride in two words. Pain because we lost the most remarkable man and our football legend, Fadil Vokry, while proud that after his loss he returned and reached the successful leg of national team results and all of our chain crews, as is the qualifications of U17 age grouping, U21 with very good matches, U19 and U19 women who only failed to qualify, so also a League, I'm talking about a League. IPKO Superliga, which has been extremely good this year. Clubs, which have been reorganized, have been conscious and perfectly organized by almost all and a very competitive race and a very quiet race and a very dignified race. These would be our definitions of the Football Federation taking into account the consisole of our federation, of our organs of extraordinary labor sectors that have done it in this year”, the first FFK stated.

As for expectations for next year, Ademi voiced optimism stating that he believes in the realisation of their goals and goals that have been shared by former leader Fadil Vokry.

The expectations are really big, especially in international competitions we'll have. You know the lot that we're in in in a strong coca group, with England, Czechia, Bulgaria, Montenegro and we, where we actually hope in our form, in our boys, in our work, and even though they're all teams of favourites or with greater tradition, we seek in this case the qualifications for the property that we're in a good form, with a team already complete and believe in these guys in our group, I believe in the realization of our objectives and objectives that have been even of former President Vok1x> he said.

Kosovo National A has two chances of qualifying in Europe. One possibility is to qualify from the League of Nations, where it is known that Kosovo will face semi-finals with Macedonia, and the other is from the group in which Kosovo is found, where there are extremely strong rivals like England, Czechia and Montenegro.

The Kosovo Football Federation, just days ago at the conclusion of 2018, has also announced this year's laureates. The two main awards won Arber Zeneli, who was named best football player of the year, while Kosovo's top football player in sports football selected by sports journalists was declared Xhevdet Shabani.

Kosovo ended the year with its largest standing in the FIFA ranking. FIFA's official site published several days ago the final ranking of nationals for 2018. In her article, FIFA.com, had emphasised the fact that Kosovo's Nationality has marked the largest rise this year. Kosovo has been set up for 46 positions within a year and currently is 131st. This was thanks to the impressive performance in 2018, in friendly and official matches, where he was able to qualify in the semifinals of the League of Nations.

Given the fact that during the past month of the year we left behind, there has been no national matches, Kosovo's position has remained unchanged where it progressed for six countries.

“Dardians” have suffered no losses since November 13th of 2017, when our national began positive series with a 4-3 victory against Latvia in the friendly one held at the “Adem Jashari” stadium, in Mitrovica, the match in which Muharrem Sahiti led the national.

Meanwhile, from March this year's national team leadership has taken over Bernard Challandes, under whose direction Kosovo has recorded seven victories and two draws.

This year will be a very interesting and productive year, especially in football, where big successes are expected, but for all it has to be expected and if these successes are to be accomplished for our legend Fadil Vokrri.
