The Serbian company “Optium”, which deals with the production of paper and office equipment products, has placed Kosovo's flag in its tent at the “Paper World” fair, which is being held in Frankfurt, Germany, despite the tax Kosovo has imposed on Serbian products.
This company, which has a paper factory in Serbia, says it is partners with more than 2,500 businesses inside Serbia and abroad.
On the official site of this firm is also posted the Kosovo flag in its partner's column where it exports its products.
In addition to Kosovo, it numbers many other Balkan countries as Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and others as partners.
We remember that during this year the Government of Kosovo has imposed a 100 per cent tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina that enter Kosovo.
Serbia is not accepting this decision of the Kosovo government. While the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has said the 100 per cent tax will not be lifted until Serbia recognises the state of Kosovo as independent.
Among other things, the American Embassy in Kosovo has asked the Kosovo government to remove taxes on Serbia. /Insander/
