Writer Ismail Kadare celebrates her 83th birthday today.
But this anniversary comes differently for the great Albanian letterman whose home will soon be a museum to be visited by Tirana citizens and tourists visiting the capital.
Following the Municipal Council's decision, Tirana's City Hall, in co-operation with renowned architect Elizabeth Terragny, has without long begun working on returning to the museum of the great Albanian writer's home on Debar Street, which in the future will be a tourist destination not only for the passionate after Kadare works, broadcasts tch.
Mayor Erion Veliaj named this initiative a very special experience.
I am very happy that on the occasion of the birthday of the great Ismail Kadare we have started working on what is not only a museum house, but it is an experience in Tirana's heart, in a palace that carries a lot of stories; a palace that took Max Velon for years to prison, a palace where with Kadare has been neighbor to Drita Agoli”, Veliaj said.
