Government sponsors provision that instills politics in diplomatic service

Under the changes he has made to the Law for Foreign Service, he has included a provision that opens the possibility of turning all ambassadors appointed according to political keys to career diplomats.

The bill, a copy of which has provided “Koha Ditore” on Tuesday, has spent this month in Government and has been forwarded to the Assembly for approval.

Controversial divisions are involved, without hiring the working group that has drafted the content. And in the process of drafting this document, ambassadors and ministry officials had strongly opposed the government's offensive to this provision that deepens politicisation in foreign service, as if they have also rejected its new version.
