Gicaj: LDK is against tax, government without co-ordination with US

LDK official Bajram Gecaj has dismissed statements that the LDK opposes the tax on Serbia's products.

At KTV's Rubik, he has said that there are no individuals in Kosovo who did not like the tax, however, stresses that it has been imposed without a co-ordination with the US.

We all liked the tax, I don't think there are individuals or parties in Kosovo that are against it. However, we should not forget that Kosovo is not just our own project, but also our friends. It's obvious that there's a post-coordinated tax case with the United States. You have seen that Serbia has always only brought problems to co-operation with Russia, yet it has always been co-ordinated with Russia”, Gecaj said.

He further added that Haradinaj's letter to Quinti countries is ultimatum.

The prime minister's “letra is ultimatum. It gives them ultimatums about how they should behave so we can remove the tax. When Brussels' official taxes were first raised, we were told that liberalisation was followed by this tax. The consequences can be bad. The U.S. has said it will stop helping the KSF and we need to know that the army could become without this state”, he said.

Gecaj also added that, “now we have to go to the polls because where the state is in a huge chaos”.

The army, according to Gekaj, would happen whether Haradinaj was in Government or not.

“Army work has been launched much earlier. Even in the Mustafa government because we, unlike this government, have been co-ordinated with international friends. The military's tax is the two population issues with which this government has already launched the” campaign, he said.
