But a powerful explosion has shaken the center of Paris as a result of a suspected leak into a bakery, causing several injuries and considerable material damage.
Police and firefighters have gone to the scene, with the latter trying immediately to extinguish the flames, while the investigative group is dealing with the causes of the explosion.
The event comes at a time when almost all businesses in the French capital have “published” their glass windows to save protesters who have burned and destroyed dozens of vehicles and shops in recent weeks.
