Former French Interior Minister Claude Guént was sentenced by the court to one year in prison for misusing public funds, following the refusal to reconsider the decision in Cassation.
In the decision, consulted by the media, the Cassation Court confirms the two-year prison sentence, one on condition and working in the community, handed out on January 23rd 2017 by the Paris Court of Appeals to Nicolas Sarcozy's former right-wing, writes ATSH.
