Looks like there was a great reason why the president of the Florentino Pérez club had to sanction the deal.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Reali had to split five times because of the financial burden he would have placed in the Portuguese club.
” If Ronaldo did not sell for 100m euros to Juventu, which also paid the annual salaries of 42m euros, Reali would suffer an 87m euros loss rather than a 43m euro profit”, Sam Wallace of Telegraph wrote.
” Interaction of Ronaldo's replacement accounting with Dominican Republic attacker Mariano, retransferred by Lyon, is 96m euros: Mariano costs 20m euros, and will be paid for five seasons, meaning 4m euros by 2023”.
