Craig Bellamy temporarily resigned from the post of U-18 age coach at Cardiff City while the club is investigating charges of harassment and xenophobic behaviour he has made to a player.
The parents of an academy player have complained that Bellamy has harassed their son, forcing them to pull him out of the club because of concerns about his condition.
Bellamy has announced she will resign to enable the club to investigate the charges against him.
I'm aware of the charges made against me through the media. I understand the need for Cardiff City to conduct investigations into these allegations by my suggestion I am temporarily out of coachial office”, Bellamy said in a media communique.
Former Karadiff Academy player Alfie Madden had left the club with the parent council due to these charges.
My parents had said that during a meeting, Bellamy had offended and shouted. At this meeting they had decided that their son would leave because he did not want to face such conduct every day.
