The Internet is certainly one of today's most powerful instruments, from which our children cannot escape.
Of course, there's nothing to be afraid of here unless Internet use turns out to be problematic.
These are symptoms if your child is dependent on the Internet.
1. A child who spends time online playing various games expresses his symptoms of overuse through vague sounds like those of the game he plays and releases them at any time of the day in any situation. If this is the case, that means it's time for an alarm!
2. If your child shows aggressive signs when you want to remove him from a computer, a tablet, or a mobile phone, crying, cursing, screaming, it's time to stop using these devices for a while.
3. When a kid doesn't do anything else for hours, he just looks at the screen, he doesn't come out, he doesn't hang out with friends, he's just virtual, etc. Doesn't that sound sad as long as you read this? Make him have a social life and realize that there are no more valuable things than that.
4. If a child lies about his time playing games, then it is time to ask for help.
5. When your social life ceases to exist in your child's life and when he's no longer interested in anything other than Internet and games, it means there's a social problem.
6. Loss of self - control at times when you tell your child that it's time to stop playing games or being on the Internet is the final sign he needs psychological help.
