She bloody her girlfriend for changing her Facebook profile picture.

Lois Ashton, from Liverpool, hit her so hard in the face that three of her teeth fell out, broadcast the news.net.

29-year-old, who is now forced to wear teeth, was attacked by former love Andrew McNair after a night with friends.

McNair, who has been imprisoned for 36 months, launched the violent attack after seeing Ashton remove it from her account photo, reports Livepool Echo.

She said she went to bed that evening after changing her Facebook profile picture.

But next morning she woke up from McNair's screams. He then continued to strike.

After the attack, she did not report it to police “out of fear” and was transferred to a shelter for domestic violence for women.

But, following McNair's repeated threats of abuse, she decided to report it.

Andrew. McNair appeared in court in November 2017 and was sentenced to 36 months in prison after being convicted of attacks, injuries and destruction of property.

But Mrs. Ashton, who attended the trial, said she has now been released.
