A blood test can accurately predict the risk of an adult being affected by heart attacks a decade earlier. Doctors in Unit A & E throughout Great Britain already use troth tests to examine whether a patient has experienced a heart attack.
The test is involved in Nice's accelerated approach program. Scientific studies have shown that similar tests are 100 percent accurate. This speeds up the rapid traces of tests, which means they can be included in more NHS and A&E departments in the coming years. Current 10-year heart attacks forecasts are based on a tool called Q RISC, which records several risk factors, including life - style, age and weight.
Cardiologists after tests found that there had been no shortage of heart attacks using the test in the study of more than 500 people.
