Social Democrat Party Chairman Shpend Ahmeti has indicated that on Tuesday, January 15th, the Dialogue platform will be ready to be sent to the Kosovo Assembly. Ahmeti, who is co-chairman of Dialogue with Serbia, has made this known to Koha.net, saying it is everyone's right [...]
Ahmeti, who is co-chairman of Dialogue with Serbia, has made it known to Koha.net, saying it is the right of each MP to vote as he wishes, when asked whether he believes the Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje will vote.
“Yes, the platform will be ready on the appropriate date. Our mandate is to negotiate, report and reach the agreement. Before we know what that deal is, I can't even talk about PSD votes. The right of each MP is to vote as he wants”, Ahmeti has said of Koha.net.
Ahmeti has also spoken of the VVI's non-compliance in dialogue.
If they are the political forces of the Republic, they are for dialogue, and the Parliament votes for dialogue and for the team, then I don't understand why they are not part of the” dialogue, Ahmeti added.
State Delegation efforts to coordinate actions with the president about dialogue so far have resulted in barren. Neither has the commitment to exchange of information and documentation about dialogue with Serbia been fulfilled.
January 15th is the deadline for finalisation of the State Platform, which will then be handed over to the Parliament.
At the State Team meeting, held during December 15th of last year, Fatmir Limaj and Shpend Ahmeti, as co-chairman of Dialogue with Serbia, confirmed that by January 15th the draft law on dialogue in Government would be prosecuted.
We agreed that once I once was Limaj to head the meetings. We agreed by 15 January to proceed with the draft law in the Government of Kosovo. Five members will work on the platform. This platform, as you know, defines principles, including recognition of Kosovo's independence on the part of Serbia”, was voiced by Ahmeti.
