On charges of threatening prosecutors, two Kosovo Assembly deputies are expected to face.
After nearly 4 months of investigation, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina is in the final phase of the establishment of two charges of prosecutions, Special Prosecutor Elez Blakaj, and Prosecutor Africa Shefkiu respectively.
It is MP Shumbin Demaliya from the AAK ranks, the one to whom the prosecution is soon expected to freeze the indictment, allegedly threatening Special Prosecutor Elez Blakaj.
And with the charge of tingling is expected to be faced by Initiative MP Milaim Zeka, who, according to the Prosecutor, had threatened Prosecutor Africa Shefkiu.
The prosecution claims it has provided enough evidence and evidence for these two cases of criminal acts.
But Shumibin Demalijaj's lawyer, Arian Koci, is convinced that the elements of the criminal offence for his client have not been fulfilled, while insisting that Demalijt's statements to prosecutor Blakaj were misunderstood.
Milaim Zeka's lawyer, Gazmend Halilaj, also says the prosecution has no basis for raising the indictment to his client.
In September last year, the prosecution arrested the two deputies -- Shumbin Demalij and Milaim Zekana -- on suspicion that they had committed the criminal work of “kanosje”.
Demalijaj was suspected that during an interview, prosecutor Elez Blakaj had threatened when he said he would deal with her privately.
While, Zeka had been arrested and kept in custody for 30 days with suspicions that Prosecutor Africa Shefkiu had finished, when he had declared he would be counting on it. /Time.net
