20 years from founding of Kosovo News Agency

KosovoPress published the news in Albanian, English, French and German during the war.
With the end of the Interim Government in January 2000 and the establishment of the Interim Administrative Council, all institutions created by the KLA political directorate and the Interim Government were extinguished.
By September 2000, Kosova Prees has started its journey as the Independent News Agency, challenging over the years, initially with survival and then with development.
Since 2002, Kosova Preress has passed into the pre-pact system, originally in Albanian, and by 2005 it has resumed into English, while in 2007, Serbian and Turkish. On tenth anniversary of the establishment (2009) Kosova Prees brought newer products to the country's media market: video news and audio news, while on the 15th anniversary of the establishment, the office in Tirana opened.
On the 16th anniversary, as a new product, it brought in the photo sector. In the 17th year, it started with the product of livecasts. Direct transmissions were made with the newest transmission technology, through 4K cameras. While the new year will also bring a new set of projects related to professional and technological work. Offering these products has made Kosova Prees increase more co-operation with the country's media, the region and the world.
All this information, Kosova Prees brings to clients and readers through written news, video news, audio news and photos, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, Albanian and English.
The Independent News Agency Kosova Prees has, over these years, witnessed the continuation of the work of independent journalism, while Kosovo's objective will continue to be such, being a source of reliable and quick news, as well as a contributor to increased freedom of expression.
Kosovaress is a member and one of the founders of Independent Agencys of Southeast Europe (APNA).
In 2017, Kosova Prees has been accepted as full-fledged members by the General Assembly of Balkan Countries and Southeast European News Agencies (ABNA-SE).
