Zoran Zaev: Today, democracy won, citizens voted for European Macedonia

Zaev said the issue would pass the assembly as he warned of early elections if the will of the majority is not respected.
“VMRO-DPMNE respects the will of most of those who appeared in the Referendum, or immediately we go to early elections”.
Zaev also said all votes should be counted for several hours so that the final outcome can be known.
From the State Election Commission it had become known that by 18:30, 34% of citizens had come to the polls.
Macedonian law requires that more than 50% take part in the referendum.
