Witness in court: I was on the list to be killed by “The people's eyes”

He was mostly asked during his testimony about a meeting of his now accused Murat Jashari.

For Murat Yasar the witness said he knows him since October 2016, after he had addressed him with a request of friendship through social networks, via “app, respectively. Facebook”

He then said that accused Murat Jashari had been interested in receiving information from the witness about the people with whom he had co-operated while he was a member of the police.

His “Communifications at the initiative today of defendants Murat were of the nature of absorption of information about my knowledge concerning the exercise of my activity as a former member of the security of the Kosovo District Police Service... He demanded that I give the data about my knowledge of the people with whom I co-operated”, the witness said.

After chat in “Facebook”, the witness said the accused has already met personally at a hotel in Pec.

I met with Murat Yasar physically on January 4th 2017 at a hotel Dukaginı in Pec, by means of the precautionary agreement over the phone that I will wait for him without knowing him. We've met, the defendant with a person for me unknown to me as I now remember Abdullah, while my last name is”, the witness said.

Asked by case prosecutor Syla Hoxha for the reason of the meeting and what Murat Jashar asked him, the witness said Jashar had asked him to give him the names of people who had worked for him. UDB.

“Since its demands were confidential, asked to speak about specific persons who are in co-operation with Serbia, persons who today carry political posts -- people who co-operate with Serbia's intelligence services and who now occupy large positions in Kosovo”, the witness said.

More specifically, he said he had asked him to give the names of people who had beaten Albanians.

It required that I give the names of those UDBs who have beaten up Albanians”, the Loci witness said.

I said how much I gave you better, but neither did I, nor did you, that they are currently -- 18x1>, said the witness had responded to Murat Jashar, so he said that if he gave them the names he would be a patriot.

To indictee Murat Jashari said he noticed that during their conversation he asked questions that had no connection with each other and that related words and sentences were abstract.

Regarding the names the accused said had asked him for, the witness said he could not mention in the presence of the public and the media, as they currently hold high political positions.

During the witness's testimony, there were several reactions from accused Murat Jashari, who in the courtroom called “Kosovo Republic”.

And during the interrogation of this witness, there were reactions from the public in the courtroom, who after the question that accused Sadri Ramabaya asked the witnesses applauded.

And the defender of accused Murat Jashar, Fehmije Bytyqi, asked the witness about the other person he had been with during their meeting in Pec.

Of the person named Abdullah, the witness said there was no more information, but of the same said he had shown no interest during the time he had talked with Jashar.

Finally, witness Loci said he was injured since he too had been on the list of persons who had been first killed by the organisation “People's Eye”. Because of this, he demanded damages worth 220 thousand euros.

The same bullet is directed at me and the others. On this basis I demand compensation for insulting morality and my definition as a traitor from the organisation that is already publicized “The Eye of the People”, to be compensated in value of 220 thousand euros”, the witness said.

The special prosecution filed charges against 10 people in connection with the case on February 28th.

Part of the indictment are acts of revenge, aid, rape, preparation of terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo, ownership, control or unauthorised possession of arms and revenge.

According to the Prosecutor, the accused planned the destruction of the fundamental political, constitutional, economic or social structures of the Republic of Kosovo with attacks and murders of the highest state personalities from former Kosovo officials from 1980 to 1991, viewing them as traitors to the country, as well as the functionaries from 1999 to 2016.

According to the indictment, the organisation had guerrilla groups, while demanding Enver Hoxha be known as hero.
