Witness: American School of Kosovo Foreignly Benefited

Uka is accused of allowing American school, its owner respectively, to use the amphitheatre on the surface of 483 m2, which has not been on public offer to rent.

Responding to prosecutor Duline Hamiti's questions, Zeka said that during the 2006-09s he had been the leader of the parking sector, then the accused Uka had changed his position to the assistant sports reference, which he holds today.

“I've been a board member for eight years, I was aware of the situation or situation in the Youth Palla. I have personally denounced the case since 2008-09, where I have publicly denounced the accused for such abuses, and I have been expected by the prosecution to invite me to make a statement, but I have never accepted an invitation from the prosecution, today after a decade I am in court for this case”, Zeka said.

According to him, the area of the Youth Palace, which the ASS uses, was not included in the public offering, as according to the witness, even the offer had been suspicious.

In the Uka accused's question, recall the witness that on 10 April 2007, at his board meeting he had proposed that the accused Uka be elected director of the Youth Palace and that he also praised his work, the witness said that it was true, but according to him, the abuses had begun after Uka was elected director of the Youth Palace.

The chairman of the court, Judge Shadije Gergur, confronted the witness with the statement given to the police, where she had declared mismanagement within the Youth Palace as: renting establishments by disrespecting the criteria that were defined according to the palace regulation, setting up these rented establishments to the principal's family, as well as third parties taking advantage of themselves and causing damage to the Youth Palace budget, giving the American school, which the witness was given under the contract.

The Witness said that all that he had stated in that statement was correct.

He also mentioned a board meeting in April 2008, at which he was not invited to the meeting even though he had been a board member, and the decision was made that a company was given parking space for 5,000 euros.
