In this regard, outgoing Prosecutor Elez Balakaj, who handled the veterans' case after this publication, has declared that she is not responsible for the indictment, since she, according to him, has suffered many changes, adding over 1,300 new names.
Also, the headship of the Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans' Organisations days ago has estimated that it was a violation of the publication of the list of those thought to have benefited against legal.
KLA OVL Chairman Hysni Gucati has declared that with the publication of the Prosecutor's List with this move, announcing illegal beneficiaries of 20 thousand and 238 veterans, he has declared them suspects without giving them access to protection and challenging evidence that go against them in the phase of the criminal investigation.
